Watch Morrissey Perform “Kiss Me a Lot” on Jimmy Fallon Live

Earlier this evening, Morrissey and his band (featuring new bassist Mando Lopez) performed his single released off of record label Atom Factory, World Peace Is None of Your Business‘ “Kiss Me a Lot”. It is a very emotional performance driven by an incredible guitar medley performance by guitarist Jesse Tobias. Featured guests also included actor-producers Mark Wahlberg and Chris Colfer. Morrissey still continues his tour of the United States, with no cancellations made thus far, which has gained him recent criticism by a horde of nagging critics.

On June 27th, Morrissey will headline New York City’s Madison Square Garden, with Blondie as the opener. The venue, in a press statement from Morrissey fansite/mouthpiece true-to-you, stated May 5th that, “Madison Square Garden has agreed to sell no meat or dairy on the day of the Morrissey show, 27 June. This is the first time the venue has agreed to such conditions in its 47-year history, and Morrissey has expressed ‘heartfelt gratitude’ to Madison Square Garden“.

Earlier this month, AlternativeNation had the great pleasure of interviewing Morrissey, the transcript of which can be read here.  It is an extensive and exciting interview, where the Mozfather discusses his views on contemporary US politics, his artistic muses, his vegatarianism, Brandon Flowers, tour memories and more.
