Watch An Animated 8-Bit Medley of Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam & Other 90’s Classics

Ever wonder what your favorite 90’s Grunge bands would look like in a Nintento NES 8-Bit video game? Well wonder no more. The YouTube channel Filthy Frackers has made an animated video called  “8bit Grunge” featuring seven 90’s classics set to cheesy, lo-fi synthesizer musical treatments.

The three minute video features: Soungarden’s “Rusty Cage,” Alice In Chains’ “Man In A Box,” Stone Temple Pilots’ “Sex Type Thing,” The Melvins’ “Revolve,” Mad Season’s “River of Deceit,” Nirvana’s “In Bloom,” and Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy.” Checkout the video and screen captures below.

In April The Frackers released “Hunger Strike 8bit Version,” a hilarious animated send-up of Temple of the Dog’s 1991 video featuring a “chiptune” Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder duet. Watch it below.
