Video: Scott Weiland & Camp Freddy Perform Cheap Trick’s “Surrender”

Above is video of former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland performing Cheap Trick’s “Surrender” with Camp Freddy at their Benefit for Boulder Crest military retreat for wounded warriors and their families. The show was well reviewed, Weiland performed STP’s “Vasoline” and a couple Doors covers as well. Camp Freddy’s lineup for Weiland’s set also included Dave Navarro, Chris Chaney, Billy Morrison, and Josh Freese.

  • Yeezus

With Jane’s Addiction clearly struggling to continue with any shred of relevance, and doing more damage to their legacy than any good at this point… & with Weiland’s pathetic state of existence right now… These guy’s should permanently reform, put out a record & tour… It would be their best bet’s to carry on respectively at this point & still do something slightly interesting (Anything ANY of them do at this point is merely a cash-grab, as I don’t really believe any of these guys give a shit about the music or their role’s in the band’s that made them. Pretty sure if they could afford it, 90% of these “Grunge Era” musician’s would disappear/retire)
