Update On A Possible New Album From Green River

PearlJamOnline have a great new interview up with Mudhoney frontman Mark Arm. In the interview, Arm discusses the possibility of an album featuring unreleased Green River material seeing the light of day.

“I’m not sure what’s going on exactly. I know that Dean Whitmore, who works with me at Sub Pop has been digging through old tapes recently with Jack Endino. I don’t think that there is much in the way of unreleased songs. Once I hear unreleased songs, it’s usually pretty obvious to me why those songs were unreleased.”

Green River featured Mark Arm (vocals), Steve Turner (guitar), Alex Vincent (drums), Jeff Ament (bass), Stone Gossard (guitar), Bruce Fairweather (guitar).

hmmm possible new album… a little misleading!

Sounds more like a very slight possibility of a re-release with some unreleased songs/demos attached… if even that.

Or much more realistically… nothing at all!

      New to the site?

      • Ben

No, been here since the beginning and previously contributed to the site,
hence I am very aware of the misleading ‘headlines.’ Atleast this ‘news’ is rock/alternative related and not celebrity gossip.
