About Mike Mazzarone

Bio: Mike Mazarone graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 2011 with a degree in communications, basically relegating him to better then you status (Except for boss Brett Buchanan). Before joining the AlternativeNation staff he was a contributor and producer to Brett Buchanan’s pro wrestling/MMA/comedy radio show – Barbaric Wrestling Radio, from 2006 to 2009. Mazzarone’s job there was to be a contributor and book interviews. After the show ended Buchanan hired Mazzarone right away to be AlternativeNation's head reporter. wembley???? :O what for?

  • Mawhonic

Hmm not sure SP want to play to a half empty Wembley Arena…

Wembley seats 13,000. That will be very hard to sell out for the smashing pumpkins, even in a heavily populated city like london. Let’s be serious corgan.

And it is a shit venue.

The fact he is only playing 3 gigs will help the sales, but I don’t want to go see a band like SP in a giant venue like that.

  • Is he one?

I think we could be surprised. In Montréal they pulled off the Bell Center, which is the most attended venue in all of North America this last year.

  • Is he one?

This makes me realize how much I miss reading SP/Corgan news almost everyday on this site. I can’t wait for the band to be active again!

On Jimmy’s last tour of the UK they played Nottingham Arena, which is much, much smaller than Wembley. It was half full (if that) and Billy stormed off in a hissy fit about halfway through. I can’t see this going well, unless they’re playing some sort of festival that is yet to be announced.

Also interesting ton toe that the Pumpkins haven’t been back to Nottingham since that night.

That should be ‘to note’ rather than ‘ton toe’
