Slipknot’s Corey Taylor To Appear On Doctor Who

According to British news outlet The Mirror, The producers of the hit sci-fi series Doctor Who has tapped Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor to lend his “deep and terrifying roar to the alien warlord known as Fisher King” in the October 3 episode of the BBC television series.

Taylor is a huge Whovian (A term given to Doctor Who superfans)and when the BBC heard that Slipknot would be playing in the city where the show is filmed, Cariff, the producers of Doctor Who reached out to Taylor to see if he would be interested in lending his voice for one of the characters. According to insiders, Slipknot were also treated to a VIP tour of the Doctor Who set.

While Taylor’s signature growl will be used for the Fisher King character, it should be noted that King is actually played by Neil Fingleton, the tallest British-born man and the tallest man in the European Union at 7 ft 7 in in height, and his speaking voice is “Shaun Of The Dead”‘s Peter Serafinowicz.
