SHORT REVIEW OF STONE TEMPLE PILOTS’ SHOW LAST NIGHT IN BIG FLATS, NEW YORK

Overall, it was a great show, probably tied with Ottawa ’09 for my favorite so far. Bi-Polar Bear and Dead & Bloated were cut again, presumably because of time restraints, all of which came about because the opening bands played too long. Frankly, I don’t think the opening bands should be doing 45 mins/50 mins respectively, when STP only did 75 mins. If both openers cut their set by 5 mins, STP would stop having to trim theirs.

We were on the barrier, dead center, caught 3 picks from Robert and one from Dean, one of Eric’s drumsticks, and got Scott’s setlist! 8) Tonight was also my first time trying out my new P&S camera for concerts; the results of which I’m very happy with! I’ll post some pictures tomorrow once I have them on my computer.
