Disarm

    Heading home from Chicago now. That was an amazing show. Absolutely trumped any of the ‘SP2’ shows I’ve seen. That’s what you can expect from a show in his hometown, I guess. Just a huge amount of energy, big crowd of general BC fans and set in a great environment. Hearing Methusela was an absolute treat, as was the entire Mellon Collie suite. Corgan took to the mic solo & made his rounds about the stage for surprise electric versions of The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning, The Crying Tree Of Mercury & Ava Adore, acting-out every anguished line with devotion to the dark nature of the songs. Hearing Of A Broken Heart to close the set was quite nice, even if he did invite ALL of his wrestler friends on-stage to sing it with him -_-;

      It was definitely a rare treat to hear so many songs I didn’t think I’d ever hear live. Ravinia was indeed the perfect setting for this show.

    If you want to update your set list, the unknown song was “Which Way You Goin, Billy?” (Poppy Family cover)

  • GhastlyFuckFace

    Also, the song you have listed as ‘Turn Your Way’ is actually ‘Lonely Is The Name.’
