I know they chuck a few songs around, but why always start
    with the same song?

They were doing this even back in the mid 1990’s.

Spice it up guys, or end up like STP.

  • Luke

Searching is an amazing opener, besides they opened Toronto with Black Rain

  • Philip

Don’t be an idiot missy. Soundgarden never falls as low as the Pilots (IE Weiland live).

  • John

Fuck you guys. I don’t care how revered Soundgarden is, Cornell butchered “Black Hole Sun” on that Lollapalooza 2010 show and that was just as bad as Weiland has been with STP.

  • NickG

    No “Burden In My Hand”?

  • Jcon

I’m sure they’ll have a brand new opener with the new album.

Cornell didn’t sound great at Lollapalooza, it happens sometimes.

  • Robert

Pepper Keenan from COC and Down played Gun with the band.

  • Iso

Dick in mouth John? The fuck are you talking about? ONE song from ONE show last year? That’s what you harp on and point out? Fuck that- and yourself too. Weiland’s slide down the shitter has been marked with far more live fuck-ups, tardiness, slurry-assed drunk/ high foolery, tempo & key-shifting so he can keep up – than you can ever accuse Cornell of live. And I LOVE STP. Don’t even front dickhead. Balls on toast.

  • Luke

ever think cornell wanted to present black hole sun differently? just a thought

  • Billy

considering they took so long between garden shows and keeping in mind i’d die to see any of these shows, i’m a little disappointed in this setlist, since they didnt add anything different that they didnt already do in the summer.

not that i’m expecting any of the new songs, but i’d love to see them bust out rhinosaur or at least something from DOTU that isnt pretty noose, burden, or blow up. Cornell did No Attention with his solo band a few years ago when he came to winnipeg.

they could open with mary had a little lamb and it would be fantastic…
