Time for some new covers, PJ. RITFW is getting a little stale.

  • ShaneC

I agree with Thunder. Rockin’ is an anthem, but PJ has been doing this cover forever.

Yeah – it’s getting a bit predictable now: PJ will close with Baba or RITFW if they\’ve got a guest who will proceed to bounce about and hit the power chords (if they play and haven\’t done so on Fortunate Son as the first encore).
That being said this was a festival gig so you\’re only gonna get more the crowd-pleasing, predictable sets with big gestures for those stood at the back – you\’re not going to get the deep cuts or larger helping of new songs as they’ve been pulling out and delighting with during \’proper\’ LB tour stops, for which I\’m already awaiting Bootleg purchase.

I like how bitchfork’s article was called “Watch Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Pearl Jam Cover Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World””. As if Win led the whole thing.
