Noel Gallagher On ‘Gentlemen’s Agreement’ To Reunite Oasis: ‘What Does That Even F***ing Mean?’

Noel Gallagher yet again responded to Oasis reunion rumors on Good Morning America.

“It does become a bit monotonous and a bit repetitive to keep, you know, reading stories of, ‘Noel Gallagher quashes Oasis rumors.’ It shouldn’t be left to me to quash the rumors all the time, and these rumors spring out of nowhere.”

One recent report claimed that Noel and his brother Liam had reached a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ to reunite the band, but Gallagher asked, “What does that even f***ing mean?”

“And what’s more annoying is then Liam says, ‘No comment.’ ‘Cause then it builds people’s hopes up,” he added. Gallagher said he is not currently on speaking terms with his brother.

Gallagher has already written a lot of music for his next album, he teased, “It’s been an absolute brand-new way of working for me. It’s something I’ve never done before.”

The Daily Mirror
reported in April that Oasis were set to reunite. Their source claimed, “It’s early days in terms of the details, but Noel and Liam are back on good terms and ready to give things another go. Nothing is signed but it’s what you might call a gentlemen’s agreement between them.”

“Ultimately they’re family and whatever has gone on before can be sorted out – they’re very close beneath all the bluster.”
