Listen To Audio Previews From Mark Lanegan’s Upcoming Anthology Box Set

Mark Lanegan is set to release his anthology set “Has God Seen My Shadow? An Anthology 1989-2011” on Light In The Attic Records on January 14, 2014. The anthology set, which will include twelve previously unreleased tracks, is comprised of material from Lanegan’s 24-year long solo career.

Light In The Attic has made audio previews for all songs, including the twelve previously unreleased tracks, available to the public. On the record label’s site, you can also currently pre-order the set’s 2-CD version for $15 or 3-LP version for $30. The unreleased tracks have the same sound and tone as Lanegan’s usual material. It is interesting to note that the “Grey Goes Black” track featured on the anthology is a completely different song than the “Gray Goes Black” on Lanegan’s 2012 album Blues Funeral.

I’m super excited for this. I pre-ordered the yellow vinyl version. Everything that Lanegan does is amazing, so I can’t wait to hear those unreleased songs in their full forms.
