Listen To New Foo Fighters Song “Congregation”

Listen to Foo Fighters’ new song “Congregation” below, the third track released off of Sonic Highways.

Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett recently discussed picking the cities for Foo Fighters’ new album Sonic Highways in an interview with TheRock.net.nz, “The initial idea was that we were going to go all over the world, the scope was maybe going to be a little bigger, and wider. But once it got narrowed down to the 8 cities that we did, it maybe got a little more focused. After the last Foo Fighters record, Dave had a lot of big crazy ideas for that record, I remember at the beginning of that last record thinking, ‘There’s no way we’re going to pull all this stuff off,’ then we did. So when he came in with this idea, I thought, ‘Yeah okay, cool.’ When he comes up with a big idea, he figures out a way to get it done.”

Dave Grohl discussed the series recently with The Pulse of Radio, “This has been two years of my life — and I’m still not done, man. On the break between the last interview and this one, I had to go in there and approve edits on the next episode that we’re working on. My life has been consumed by this thing — which is amazing, and I’m so psyched — but, when it’s done… I’ll probably miss it. But, good God, I can’t wait to get this thing (done).”
