John Frusciante’s New LP ‘Enclosure’ Launched Via Space Rocket For Streaming

John Frusciante’s upcoming new LP, entitled Enclosure, is set for release via Record Collection on April 8, 2014. Frusciante has stated that the album is his “last word on the musical statement which began with PBX” and that Enclosure represents his musical goals from the past five years.

On March 29, Frusciante’s upcoming album was launched into outer space aboard an Interorbital Systems’ NEPTUNE Modular Rocket using an experimental Cube Satellite called Sat-JF14. Fans can now download a free mobile app, available via Apple and Android devices, to track the satellite’s movement and listen to the album for free when the satellite hovers over a user’s geographic region. The preview will last until April 7, at which point Sat-JF14 will cease transmission. The app encourages fans to chat with other users using a social network platform.
