Grammy Executive Producer Apologizes To Trent Reznor

by -

Ken Ehrlich, the Grammy Executive producer, recently was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter and discussed Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor’s frustration with the Grammys cutting off his performance:

“I’m sorry he was upset. I was really thrilled that we were finally getting him on the Grammys. The final jam started with Arcade Fire a few years ago, and LL Cool J last year. I want to end on a high, an up note. I did tell them we’d take it as long as we could. The number was about five, six minutes long, and we got to within a minute twenty of the end. We got as close as we could possibly get.”

Talk about a non-apology. The grammys are a joke.

Such a liar- it was interrupted with commercials and far away camera work in those 5 minutes

    First Sinatra, now Reznor

  • Larry

Fuck Reznor and the Grammy\’s. Both are horrible for music.

    • Daniel A

      Larry you’re a silly motherfucker

  • Me

    That’s not exactly an apology…

It’s not the first time they’ve done a live show and they acknowledged this has happened before.
these lives shows are laid out and revolve the air time around advertisements.

    Grammy’s are a complete JOKE.

Definitely not an apology. Jackass Grammy tools. The show has always sucked and they never give any real acts anything while they\’re relevant. Like the other night Sabbath and Led Zepp won. Elvis only got a couple during his life for his gospel recordings. Beatles never got any until the Anthologies came out long after Lennon passed. The one thing that sucked for QOTSA is that supposed 30 million people were watching. I would rather have them in front of the masses than Be-Yawn-ce and Jizz-E.
