Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart Goes After Thom Yorke For Trashing Spotify

Ex-Eurythmics member Dave Stewart discussed Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke’s criticism of Spotify in a new interview with The Guardian.

“Thom Yorke made a mistake there, him and Nigel Godrich,” says Dave Stewart. “They were misinformed. I think they just suddenly got a bee in their bonnet, because Spotify is one of the few companies that is transparent and actually pays properly – as a songwriter you should worship Spotify, because they’ve come along with a solution.”

Yorke and his Atoms for Peace bandmate Nigel Godrich removed their music from Spotify a couple of months ago and ripped it on Twitter.
