BUTCH VIG SAYS DAVE GROHL/KRIST NOVOSELIC REUNION SONG REFERENCES KURT COBAIN

“We had Krist Novoselic come in and play bass [on the song], and I’m not exactly sure what the song’s about, but to me, it seems there’s definitely some references about Kurt Cobain, and it’s one of the most primal, raw things the Foo Fighters have ever done, and I think it’s one of the best tracks on the record.”

I wish they would release the album sooner!!! Some teasers would be good atleast!

Fuck this band and fuck Butch Vig

For some reason I prefer less teasers. When STP released the whole album on the web it was anti-climactic when I bought the real deal.

STP’s new album actually leaked very late, I think under a week before the official release. I remember Pearl Jam and AIC’s most recent albums leaking at least 2 weeks before they were released.

Notice how Vig said ‘distorted and raw’ that be Novoselic’s idea then. I mean can you imagine him playing on Monkey Wrench Part 59, neither could I?
