Last week Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson revealed that Kurt Cobain was working on new solo material at the time of his death in 1994.

Butch Vig tells NME, “He was working on songs, but they were just in his head. He might have just played some songs to Eric… Around that time period he only wanted to talk about Courtney’s album. I never heard any of his new songs.”

  • Is he one?

LOL that’s what I thought honestly, Erlandson’s comments sounded over the top to me. I like the guy but clearly he wanted some attention, which he got.

    I agree, he wanted attention

Apparently Hole is incapable of garnering attdention without mentioning Kurt Cobain.

What do you think about Bradley Nowell?

  • Ef

I believe the demos Earlandson is talking about is not necessarily work in progress from March 1994. Most likely a compilation of demos from 1982-1994. I heard somewhere that there was some Creedence Clearwater Revival covers? who knows!. I guess around 2014 when Nirvana is inducted in RR Hall of Fame they will release another box set, including the Nevermind outtake Song in D.
