Black Sabbath Bassist Arrested For Bar Fight

TMZ reports that Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler was arrested for getting in a bar fight on Tuesday. Butler was at a bar at the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley, and a brawl broke out. Butler was charged with battery, vandalism, and disorderly conduct. Butler ended up spending the night in jail.

In September 2014, Ozzy Osbourne announced some big Black Sabbath news. The frontman plans to head back into the studio with Black Sabbath this year for one more album before embarking on one final tour. In early 2014, it was originally understood that Black Sabbath’s last gig would be their July 4th gig at London’s Hyde Park.

In an interview with Metal Hammer, Ozzy stated, “The whole Sabbath experience this time around was great. We all made friends, we didn’t fuck around, we all knew that we had a job to do, and we did it. It was a lot of fun. So we’re going to do one more album, and a final tour.” Ozzy also revealed, “I believe [producer] Rick Rubin is going to do it with us again.”
