MARK LANEGAN PRAISES BUSH FRONTMAN GAVIN ROSSDALE

This is a quote from LouderThanWar.com‘s new interview with Mark Lanegan:

“Well yeah, getting up in front of people and doing anything is sorta not really in my nature. I’m a private person. So for years I was really uncomfortable with getting up and singing in front of people, especially singing, but getting up and talking front of a load of people would be way more frightening now, ‘cos I’ve been singing for so long! Now I’m used to it. Now I actually enjoy it. I mean, I watched Bush play the other day in Switzerland and y’know they play for two and a half hours or something and Gavin is all over the stage, crazy, athletic, singing and I really admire that, but for me, just to stand there and sing for an hour and a half takes all my effort!”

TEAM BILLY VS. TEAM CORNELL: WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?

Yesterday Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan revealed the backstory to his feud with Chris Cornell and Soundgarden in a radio interview, stating that Chris Cornell supposedly said in 2007 that Smashing Pumpkins’ reunion was not ‘legitimate,’ which hurt Billy’s feeling since he thought they were friends.  He went on to say that while he is a fan of Soundgarden and has been since their 2nd EP, they are doing the ‘reunion lap’ and mocked Chris Cornell’s Scream album.  Now, whose side are you on?  Team Billy or Team Cornell?  Fuck Romney vs. Obama, this is the election of the year! Are you with BillCo as he takes a break from fighting his main nemesis Darth Iha? Or are you with CC?

Whose side are you on?
